Stamping Pals Colour Challenge

Happy Sunday everyone,
Today I have made a card using ink blending to make a night sky. This was made for the colour challenge on the stamping pals blog

I blended Highland Heather, Melon Mambo and Pumpkin Pie inks onto white shimmer cardstock to create the sky scene. The branches were from and sentiment were form Very Versailles and the little bird were from Sailing Home all stamps were from Stampin' up.
This was mounted onto Basic White Card and then stuck down onto a Basic Black card base. The sentiment was stamped in clear Versamark ink and then sprinkled with white embossing powder and heatset, i then flagged the end and mounted it with foam dimensionals.
Thanks for stopping by, I hope you have a good week 😊

Poinsettia Petals FMS486

Happy Monday everyone, it's Christmas in May!

Today I have made a card using Poinsettia petals dies from Stampin' Up and a sketch from Freshly Made Sketches blog. I know it's not exactly Christmas season but I do love it lol

The card base was made from  A5 Kraft cardstock and folded in half to make an A6 card.
The background paper I used was from the Brightly Gleaming DSP from Stampin' Up but sadly it has retired 😕
I cut a half circle in rose gold mirror card and another in White card stock using a large nesting die, then embossed it using a Christmas sentiment embossing folder.
I cut some sprigs from Mossy Meadow card stock and rose gold mirror card, some poinsettias in red mirror card and finished them off with some pearl gems.
 I hope you like it.
Thanks for stopping by, I hope you have a good day.
