Let Hope be your anchor

I just love the sentiment on this card, with so many people in my walk of life that struggle with mental health. Whether it be lonelines, depression, grief or just just general struggles of everyday life. People need people!
I thought of this when I saw this verse.
If you know someone in your life that suffers from any kind of mental health, a little gesture of kindness can often make a Big difference. Lets take away the stigma that is often associated with Mental Health and reach out to someone.
I often find that doing some sort of crafting can help to take your mind off of the stresses of life and give you a good feeling of accomplishment.  perhaps even sending your handmade crafts to someone!

I hope you have a great day.

Taking the plunge and Sailing Home 😊

Hi everyone,
Today I have made a conscious decision to re-start my blog again, it's been 10 years since I last wrote anything and a lot has happened in that time. Divorce, moving house, my dad passing away, but on a brighter note... new relationship, new wee puppy and a new job, the list goes on but I don't want to bore you before I've even started lol
What I will tell you though is that just over a year ago I joined a company called Stampin' Up, I love their products and the quality of their stamps.
I love crafting so over then next few weeks I will be sharing some old and also some new stuff, I hope you like it 😉

Here is a card I made for my niece's birthday a few years ago 😏

I love the way this turned out, I think the burgundy and green go really well together the image was  from a company called PC Crafter.

This next card is made using the Sailing home stamp set by Stampin'Up

For the water I used the High tide stamp set, then coloured the water using graduated flicks of colour using Blueberry bushel, Tempting Turquoise, Pool party and Balmy blue, the sand was coloured using Crumb cake, I also used a Blender pen.
Thanks for visiting my blog today, I hope you will stop by again soon 😊
Hugs
