Jar of flowers

A few weeks ago I was asked to make a card for my Sister in law.

This card was not too expensive to make and the most it cost me was my time. I used free backing papers that I had downloaded from a magazine a few years ago and trimmed this down to 6 x 6 inch. I used the snow globe scene dies from stampin' up to cut out the aperture in the backing paper, I kept the cut out part too. I then took the piece with the aperture cut out, and placed it on my card. I cut various different leaves and foliage then working and gauging the placement of how my vase would look I began to snip the stems roughly about 1/4 to 1/3 off the base of the stems and place them inside the cut out aperture. I stuck the globe behind the backing paper, put double sided tape around the aperture and red line tape on all 4 sides peeling back just about 1 inch and folding the peeled back  red tape so that it sticks out. I completely removed the tape from the bottom of the backing paper and positioned it on the card on the bottom edge only. I put sequins inside the globe then put the card face down and removed the tape. The rest of the foliage and flowers was then glued into position.
Thanks again for stopping by
